How to Change Your Group Identity

Introduction
Most group identities are manufactured. Identities such as racial identities - White, Black, and other such identities are manufactured or human-made identities. Or geography based identities - African, Asian, European - or religion or philosophy based identities - Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Platonist, Existentialist, and other such identities are all manufactured identities as opposed to natural identities. A natural identity would be the fact that you are an individual human being or the fact that you are a man or a woman. Natural identities are true whether labels created by society for the purpose of organizing and controlling people exist or not. For example, you would still physically be a human individual even if no other humans were around to identify you as a human individual. However, this is not true for manufactured social identities or political identities. For example, you would not be either Black or White outside of the 500 or so years old skin color based social control system known as race - a war and conquest idea from the European-colonization-of-the-world era. So, in a country or time period where the race based control system is not used, there are no Black people or White people, for all practical purposes.
1 - How to change your group identity
1.1 - If you do not agree with the historically or socially assigned group identity that you now operate under, tell yourself that you no longer wish to identify with that group identity. Also tell anyone who is concerned with your group identity when the topic comes up or post up a statement about the fact that you are changing your group identity or are choosing a new group identity on your website, on Facebook, or wherever you feel that you need to communicate this change to the world.
So, for example, if people say you are White or Black or Asian or Latino or whatever else, and you do not wish to belong to any of those groups, just tell people that you do not identify with any of those group labels or groups.
If you need a replacement group identity, just go with any one or more of the following positive identities: 1) human - a member of the group (or human individual as a group identity - this is not usually a group identity but there are billions of human individuals so one could say that this is a class of people on Earth - or the ultimate class of people on Earth - anyway, the two ways of looking at oneself are very closely related), 2) a member of a certain nation (insert name of whatever country that you live in) or several nations (born in one country, raised in another type situation. or with property and business in multiple countries, etc. or even if you just feel as if you belong to a certain country then that may be enough.). Those are pretty much the only group identities or the most important group identity replacements that one needs in order to live and function well on this planet, in my opinion.
1.2 - Once you change your group identity, whenever someone tries to control you using the old group label that you once identified with, point out the fact that you no longer identify with that group label. Also resist blindly following old group norms or behavioral control techniques that others may try to impose on you in order to bring you under whatever group category that they wish to place you under (situations where you are faced with statements such as: "group x does this, you belong to group x, so you should do that also" should be carefully analyzed and then judged to see if they are compatible with your new group identity - prior to you taking such actions). Also reflect daily on how you can become a better human individual and be of better use to yourself in a positive sense and also to the only real and the largest relevant group on earth - the human community - and carry out such work.
2 - That’s it. Sit back and relax and enjoy your new life. Simply by thinking and or speaking the right words and ideas, you are free from your old group identity. The world may not recognize this immediately and in some cases perhaps never, however, that does not matter because the world and or other people have been wrong many, many times in the past, and most likely that trend will continue for a long time to come. However, even if society does not accept your change, by making a positive change in your mind by moving away from manufactured and troublesome, limiting, ill-thought-out or outdated social or political identities and corresponding behavior and over to a positive natural identity or identities and related behavior, and by sharing this information with the world, you would be helping to slowly create a new world, a new social reality, and perhaps a new and better era for all humans.
